Leake Andersson Attorneys Share Career Insights with Brother Martin High School Students

Legal Insights

On October 23, 2025, Leake Andersson attorneys Lou Bonnaffons and Mason Bonnaffons visited Brother Martin High School to speak with students about what it’s really like to build a career in law.

Their joint presentation, titled “Attorney Careers: Perspectives from Lawyers with 1 and 33 Years of Experience,” offered students a unique opportunity to hear two sides of the same professional journey—one from an attorney just beginning his career, and one from a seasoned litigator with more than three decades of experience.

Together, Lou and Mason discussed the many paths that a law degree can open, the importance of integrity and curiosity in the legal profession, and how the practice of law continues to evolve with each generation. The conversation also touched on practical advice, from developing effective communication skills to maintaining balance and purpose throughout a demanding career.

The visit reflects Leake Andersson’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and mentorship. By sharing their experiences, Lou and Mason aimed to encourage students to think critically about their own futures, whether in law or any other profession that serves the public good.

We extend our gratitude to the administrators and faculty at Brother Martin High School for welcoming our attorneys to campus and for fostering opportunities that connect students with real-world perspectives.
