Mason C. Bonnaffons is an associate attorney at Leake Andersson in the New Orleans office. His practice focuses primarily on insurance, casualty, workers’ compensation, and transportation.
Born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana, Mason then attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, where he played collegiate baseball. He graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Marketing and a minor in pre-law. He then returned to New Orleans to earn his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2024. Mason has been admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts.
During his time in law school, Mason developed his oral advocacy skills in Loyola’s Trial Advocacy program. He also gained a wealth of legal knowledge early on as a law clerk during each of his years in law school.
Mason was recognized by the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel Board as a 2026 Frank L. Maraist Award Nominee for his achievements in his practice and contributions to the legal profession and community as a young lawyer.
Personal
Mason stays active by playing in various sports leagues, such as basketball, flag football, softball, and more. He attends Saints, Pelicans, and LSU games, and he enjoys going out to eat at his favorite New Orleans restaurants.
