Renee “Katie” McKay is an Associate in Leake & Andersson’s New Orleans office who specializes in casualty, insurance defense, and product liability. She is a 2015 graduate of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and 2012 graduate of Louisiana State University.

Prior to joining Leake & Andersson, she worked at the Louisiana Department of Justice, Litigation Division, practicing civil Medical Malpractice Defense Litigation.  She also has experience handling domestic law cases, including her volunteer work with the Pro Bono Project handling uncontested divorces.

Katie is originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast but has been a New Orleans resident for over 10 years.  In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, baking, and spending time with her dog Rosie and husband Will.
