3 Attorneys Join New Orleans Office

Three new attorneys have joined L&A’s New Orleans office in recent months: Katie McKay as Associate, Courtney Troxclair as Associate, and Walter Wolf as Special Counsel.

 

Katie McKay specializes in casualty, insurance defense, and product liability. After graduating from Loyola University College of Law in 2015, she worked in private practice and then at the Louisiana Department of Justice (Litigation Division) practicing civil Medical Malpractice Defense Litigation. She also has experience handling domestic law cases. Katie is originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast but has been a New Orleans resident for over 10 years.

 

 

 

Courtney Troxclair, born and raised in Thibodaux, Louisiana, is a general litigation attorney whose primary practice areas include casualty, premise liability, transportation, and trucking litigation.

During her time at LSU Law, Courtney served as the President of Women in Law Student Association. She was also selected to be a student clinician in the Immigration Law Clinic where she was assigned cases representing non-citizens in their defensive proceedings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review and affirmative applications with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

 

Walter Wolf is in (chronological order) a historian and curator, lawyer, and diplomat. After graduating from Trinity University and working as a curator with the Petty Collection and Historic New Orleans Collection, Walter then graduated from Loyola Law School, where he was the Articles Editor of the Law Review.  His practice has ranged from copyright and entertainment law, to diverse areas such as admiralty, commercial transactions, energy/utility regulation law, and international law. Prior to joining L&A, he was the Intellectual Property Manager at the National World War II Museum. Walter also serves as the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Latvia.
