Welcome to Leake & Andersson! We are excited to announce L&A’s three new attorneys: Andrew Abrams as Special Counsel, Wesley Levesque as Special Counsel, and Reese Woessner as Associate. Andrew, Wesley, and Reese have joined L&A  with a diversity of skills and experiences that deepen the collective expertise of the firm and thus help us provide the best counsel and advice across a broad range of legal matters.


Andrew C. Abrams brings to the firm over a decade of experience in the areas of civil defense litigation, government affairs, and intellectual property. He has worked extensively in matters involving representation of public bodies, commercial transactions and the music industry. Additionally, he is a Judge Advocate for the U.S. Army via the Louisiana National Guard serving as trial counsel and is admitted to practice tribal law with the Chitimacha Tribe of Louisiana.  Aside from his dedication to the practice of law, he is also committed to his community engaging as an active member of the World Trade Center of New Orleans, Audubon Nature Institute, and the New Orleans Museum of Art.

Wesley J. Levesque is a native of New Orleans and attended Mississippi College School of Law where he earned a joint degree in both business and law J.D./M.B.A. Wesley has concentrated his practice on insurance and domestic litigation. He has experience advocating for a diverse client base of local and national private businesses, lenders, unions, organizations, and insurance clients throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.

Reese M. Woessner is also a native of New Orleans with two degrees from Loyola University. Following an extensive career at the District Attorney’s Office in Jefferson Parish, he now focuses primarily on worker’s compensation claims, construction litigation, personal injury, and insurance defense.
