Mollie Ponds Joins L&A
Welcome to Mollie A. Ponds and join us in congratulating her on passing the Louisiana and Missouri Bar Exams! Following her admission to the Louisiana State Bar in 2022, Mollie decided to also take the Missouri Bar Exam, which she recently passed as well.
Mollie A. Ponds moved from her hometown of Kansas City, MO, to pursue her juris doctorate at Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge. She joins L&A with experience as a judicial law clerk in the 19th Judicial Court and the First City Court of New Orleans as well as with legal certifications in Public Interest Law and in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. A dedicated member of her community everywhere she goes, Mollie has been a part of various legal and community organizations, such as serving as an Executive Committee member of the NAACP. Currently, she is a board member of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, where she is responsible for organizing community events and activities for young adults, and an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
