L&A Attorneys Appointed As Special Masters

Leake & Andersson Attorneys Megan A. Haynes and Misha M. Logan-Johnson have been appointed to serve as Special Masters under Act 318 through the Orleans Parish Civil District Court to mediate Hurricane Ida claims throughout the State of Louisiana. Act 318 of the Regular Session of the Legislature of Louisiana provides a stream-lined approach to amicably resolving and adjudicating the various claims that arose and continue to arise as a result of the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Ida. Act 318 authorizes Orleans Parish Civil District Court the authority to appoint a handful of qualified candidates throughout Orleans Parish to adjudicate such claims. Megan and Misha are honored to serve as special masters to assist the New Orleans community with moving forward with  reaching optimal results following the aftermath of this unfortunate natural disaster.
