Stefini W. Salles is a native New Orleanian who received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 1995 and graduated from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1998.  She previously worked for a large defense firm in New Orleans, where she focused on insurance defense, general casualty, personal injury, debt collection, construction law, medical malpractice, and matters involving the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners.  Her clients included national insurance companies, telecommunications, manufacturers, healthcare facilities and locally owned and operated businesses.  Stefini joined Leake and Andersson in 2022 and her practice has focused on transportation, insurance defense, premises liability and general litigation.

She is licensed to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal Courts regularly representing clients throughout the entire state.  Stefini has successfully litigated cases in many of Louisiana’s parishes.  In the courtroom, she conducts direct and cross examination of the facts and expert witnesses – after completing extensive trial preparation for general casualty, products liability and nursing home litigation. She has also participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations.

Stefini previously taught torts in the Paralegal Studies department of the University of New Orleans.  She is active in the Louisiana State Bar Association.
