Lesley Muse-Vincent is an associate with Leake & Andersson in the firm’s New Orleans Office. Her practice areas include employment, insurance coverage, and insurance defense.

A native New Orleanian, Lesley earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University of New Orleans and graduated cum laude from The Southern University Law Center where she was awarded the Juris Doctor and received an additional certification in Public Interest Law.   During her tenure in law school,  she served as law clerk for the Louisiana Legislative Black Caucus and participated in both the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund Leadership Institute.

Lesley has first-hand experience in all aspects of the litigation lifecycle.  She began her legal career as Law Clerk for the Honorable Monique E. Barial of the Orleans Parish Civil District Court and then became an in-house attorney for the Louisiana DCFS Access and Visitation Program. She has a demonstrated track record of success and prides herself on tailoring her strategies to the unique needs and challenges of each case.  Prior to joining Leake & Andersson, Lesley represented corporations and insurance companies in various areas of litigation including general civil defense, toxic tort, environmental litigation, & products liability.

Lesley is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She is a member of the Louisiana, New Orleans, and Fifth Federal Circuit Bar Associations.
