Jamie F. Hickey is an associate with Leake & Andersson.  Her practice focuses primarily on the areas of insurance defense, products liability, and transportation.

Prior to joining Leake & Andersson, Jamie represented corporations and insurance companies in various areas of litigation including insurance defense, transportation, employment discrimination, and coverage.  Additionally, Jamie clerked for the 40^th Judicial District Court for the Parish of St. John the Baptist where she handled civil, criminal, and domestic dockets.

Jamie earned her law degree from Tulane University Law School in 2018.  While in law school, Jamie served as the Editor in Chief of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and received the Jackson-Ryan Pro Bono Advocate Award for completing 583 hours of pro bono work.  Jamie also clerked for Hon. Charles J. Kahn, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for Northern District of Florida while in law school.

Originally from Pensacola, FL, Jamie is a long-term resident of New Orleans and has lived in the city since 2008.  She currently lives Uptown with her husband, Jack, and their dog, Utah.
