Leake & Andersson partner Edward Hayes has been named to the United States roster for United States-Mexico-Canada Free Trade Agreement (USMCA) Chapter 10 disputes. USMCA Chapter 10 provides an independent binational dispute settlement panel process as an alternative to judicial review by the parties’ domestic courts of antidumping and countervailing duty final determinations. Mr. Hayes previously served as a member of the NAFTA Chapter 19 dispute settlement process that has been replaced by USMCA Chapter 10.
