Associate attorney, Robert A. McKnight, was recognized by the Louisiana State Bar Association with two incredible awards. Robert will receive a 2021 Pro Bono Publico award for exceeding the aspirational goal of 50 hours of pro bono services in one year. Robert will also receive a 2021 Century Club Award for providing over 100 hours of volunteer pro bono services for the year!
These awards highlight and celebrate the important and impactful work Robert does for those in need. Robert will receive the awards (virtually) from Louisiana Supreme Court Chief Justice John L. Weimer on May 20, 2021.
Robert has worked for the Orleans Public Defenders office where he fought for fairness and equity in the criminal legal system both inside and outside the courtroom. When Robert is not in the courtroom, you can find him in the community being of service to others where he is affectionately known as the Son of Uptown.
