Ms. Dugas is a partner with the firm. She received her undergraduate education from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge then obtained her law degree from Loyola University School of Law- New Orleans. She was also a visiting student at the University of Arizona at Tucson. While in law school, Ms. Dugas was the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including Final Four Moot Court Finalist, Moot Court staff, Honor Board Representative, SBA Representative and Vice-President, and World Trade Center of Greater New Orleans scholarship recipient (1996). Ms. Dugas returned to school in 2009 to obtain a post-doctoral Master’s Degree in Environmental Management and Sustainability from Harvard University.

Since receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1996, Ms. Dugas has pursued an active general civil litigation and commercial litigation practice in both state and federal courts in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Her practice concentrates in trucking transportation defense and includes casualty, insurance defense litigation, products liability, and toxic tort. Aside from working in private law practice, Ms. Dugas has also worked in-house for an insurance holding company, managing its litigation departments.

Ms. Dugas is an Assistant Bar Examiner for the Louisiana Supreme Court. She is licensed to practice in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. She is admitted to practice in both state and federal court. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, Texas Bar Association and Federal Bar Association.
