Alex B. Johnson is an associate attorney at Leake & Andersson, LLP, where his practice focuses on general litigation and international trade and business matters, including international public policy and government relations. Before joining Leake & Andersson, Alex served as an Assistant District Attorney in Jefferson Parish prosecuting a wide variety of criminal matters, including capital murders.
Alex previously worked in Washington, DC, in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, first for the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee and ultimately with the Small Business Committee.
Alex grew up on a farm in northeast Georgia and studied history and international affairs at the University of Georgia. He earned his law degree at Tulane University. While studying law, Alex was published widely as a freelance journalist. Alex lives in New Orleans with his wife and their son and dog.
