Raymond R. Egan, III is a Partner, practicing in litigation since 1994. He began his career as a prosecutor in the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, where he tried over 100 jury trials, including murders, rapes, kidnapping, drug crimes, etc. Since 1997, Raymond has practiced civil litigation, and is experienced with both federal and state court civil litigation.

Currently, he practices general insurance defense litigation including personal automotive liability, commercial transportation, and general commercial premises liability. In addition to his license in Louisiana, Raymond is licensed in Mississippi, and admitted to practice in all courts in each of these two states, as well as the United States’ Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States’ Supreme Court.

Raymond received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of New Orleans, with a minor in history, as well as a juris doctorate degree from Louisiana State University Law School.

He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, New Orleans Bar Association, the New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel, the Louisiana Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and the Mississippi Bar Association.
