Alex is an associate who practices in many different areas, including commercial insurance litigation, general insurance litigation, employment law, construction law and intellectual property.

Alex was admitted to practice in Louisiana in 2005 and worked for Lobman, Carnahan, Batt, Angelle & Nader before joining Leake & Andersson in 2009. In addition to practicing before state courts throughout Louisiana, Alex has been before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western districts of Louisiana, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

A native of Rochester, New York, Alex obtained his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in 1999, and his J.D. from The James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition to practicing law, Alex was a sports writer for three years in Virginia and West Virginia, including a stint as the sports editor for a daily newspaper in the suburbs of Washington, D.C.

In addition to being a full member of the Louisiana state bar, Alex is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association, as well as a member of the LBSA’s Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law sections.

Alex lives in Uptown New Orleans with his wife, Amy and his daughter, Jo. They love the Crescent City and are proud to call it home.
