Lauren Fajoni Bartlett is a Senior Associate with a general litigation defense practice particularly in the areas of drug and medical device litigation, general products liability, contract disputes, general commercial litigation and insurance defense. She was first admitted to practice law in Florida in 2002, where she practiced real estate litigation. After being admitted to the Louisiana bar in 2003, she joined Leake & Andersson as a member of their litigation team.

Lauren is an active member in good standing in all state and federal courts in Florida and Louisiana, and her legal experience includes aggressively advocating on behalf of insurance companies, major corporations and small businesses, arbitrating and mediating cases, trial advocacy, appellate practice, and she maintains an active pre- and post-trial motion practice. She is also an active member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, New Orleans Bar Association, New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel and DRI (Defense Research Institute). She currently holds positions on the steering committees for DRI's Technology Committee, Young Lawyers Committee and Insurance Law Committee, and she has published several articles within that organization as well. Lauren received her juris doctor from Western State University College of Law in 2002, and she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University in communications, with minors in economics and classics. Prior to attending law school, she worked for the Executive Office of the Governor before gaining employment as a freelance political consultant.
