Amanda Vonderhaar is an associate who focuses her practice primarily on products liability litigation and insurance defense. She has experience with multi-district litigation, class action toxic tort defense and warranty/redhibition cases. Ms. Vonderhaar was admitted to practice before U.S. District Court, Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana, as well as all Louisiana State Courts in 2007.
Ms. Vonderhaar attended the University of Miami, where she was inducted into the Order of Omega and Rho Lambda honor societies. She received her B.S. with majors in Communications Studies and Sociology and minor in Political Science in 2004. Ms. Vonderhaar received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School in 2007. While a student at Tulane, she participated in a national moot court competition, was a student attorney for the Juvenile Law Clinic and was a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board. In addition, Ms. Vonderhaar interned for United States District Court Judge James J. Brady in the Middle District of Louisiana.
Ms. Vonderhaar is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and the Tulane Inn of Court. She currently serves on the executive board for the Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association.
