Margaret joined Leake & Andersson, LLP upon admission to practice in 2004.


She practices primarily in commercial and financial lines litigation, international trade and business, ERISA and other employment-related litigation. Margaret has represented broker-dealers and registered representatives in multiple FINRA arbitration proceedings and FINRA regulatory matters involving a variety of investments, including variable annuities and private securities transactions. She also has experience in state and federal court representing clients in disputes over life insurance policies, equity-indexed annuities and other fixed products, employment disputes and ERISA-based benefit plans.


In 2004, Margaret graduated from Tulane Law School, where she received the Paul Morphy, Jr., Memorial Award. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Russian from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Prior to attending law school, Margaret worked in public policy consulting.


Margaret is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association, including its Securities Law Section.
