Catherine L. Davidson is a Senior Associate with eight years of legal experience beginning as a Tax Specialist with KPMG, LLP in Los Angeles, California, where she focused on financial planning and business transactions for individual and corporate clients. After returning to New Orleans, Catherine sought to round out her legal experience by accepting a position with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor. In her three years as a prosecutor, she was first chair on more than 100 judge trials and 25 mediations dealing exclusively with child abuse in Orleans Parish (County).


Catherine entered private practice in 2005 and joined Leake & Andersson, LLP in 2006. She is an experienced litigator and her diverse practice includes business transactions, commercial and financial lines litigation, securities investor disputes, professional liability and Hurricane Katrina commercial property and business interruption loss litigation. Additionally, Catherine has a thriving construction litigation practice, including disputes involving the Louisiana Private and Public Works Acts, the New Home Warranty Act, the Louisiana Condominium Act, and contract negotiation and contract dispute resolution. Catherine grew up in Alexandria, Louisiana, where her father was a state district court judge, and graduated from Louisiana College.


She received her Masters Degree from the University of New Orleans and graduated from Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans, Louisiana in 2000. She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal district courts.
