Leake and Andersson, LLP has been recognized for its Pro Bono commitment. In 2007, the Firm was awarded the New Orleans Pro Bono Project's Distinguished Service Award. The same year, Donald E. McKay, Jr., a partner in the Firm, was given a Distinguished Service Volunteer Award for contributing more than 50 hours of Pro Bono work.

Both Paul Andersson and George Fagan have been listed as "Best Lawyers in America" for over 10 years, and each was included in "Louisiana Superlawyers" in 2009. Mr. Andersson was named in the "Top Lawyer" listing in 2009, and was selected as one of only 50 Louisiana “Leaders in Law” by New Orleans CityBusiness Magazine this year.

George Fagan recently served on the Executive Committee (2007-2008) and was a member of the Board of Directors (2006-2008) of ALFA International, an association of 95 law firms in the United States and over 40 international law firms. Leake & Andersson, LLP is the only invited ALFA member firm for Louisiana.
